"We make your day even better!"

...but what about evenings? Well, with the new schedule, we'll make those better too.

You know that you can enjoy all the Deluxe hits throughout the whole day, 24/7, but we thought to spice up the part where you're about to relieve yourself. The classic "Happy Hour" period, when you may have an afterwork drink, or you drive around is great for "costumized" shows on each day of the week, between 19-21h C.E.T.. (If you reside in a different time zone, all shows are replayed the next day between 3:00-5:00 a.m. C.E.T.)

Deluxe Hip Hop logo On Mondays, we play all the greatest Hip-Hop hits of the 80s, 90s and 2000s (excluding the new tracks). We regularly spin the frist ever released rap song by the Fatback Band (yes, months before Rapper's Delight came out!), we play the pioneers including Grandmaster Flash, Spoonie G, Kool Moe Dee, Eric B. & Rakim, Run DMC and many more. The came the nineties, that era brought us the new generation of hip-hop, like Naughty By Nature, Ice Cube, Big Daddy Kane, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G. Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, just to name a few. While some of them unfortunately passed away, but were role models for the 2000s newcomers: Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Cam'ron and many others. And, one more "behind the scenes" secret: in order to maintain the possible perfect hip-hop sound, many of the classic songs were digitized from vinyl sources. Like?

deluxe nineties logo  On Tuesdays, we travel back to the Nineties. The era of the VHS recorders, CD, Tamagotchi, Doom, Sesame Street and Monica Lewinsky. The era of Steven Segal's ponytale, Freddie Kruger, The Matrix, the Nokia 2110, if you're over 30, you know what we're talking about. But it was also the era when neo soul, r'n'b and even hip-hop evolved, and became more popular. Two hours of our best Deluxe hits, but only from the nineties, regardless of the genre. Want some examples? OK, here we go: Flip Da Scrip, Morcheeba, Zhané, Jamiroquai, Fugees, Salt 'N' Pepa, Genuwine, The Lighthouse Family, Eternal, C+C Music Factory and more. Since this way the era of the CD, all songs have been ripped from factory pressed CDs (we have 5000+ CDs in our archive), mastered and properly tagged one by one.

deluxe 2000s logo  On Wednesdays, we step one decade forward, to the 2000s. We survived the Y2K panic, connected on the Internet. DVD evolved into Blu-Ray, SD televison went HD, and Apple introduced the iPhone. We still bought some CDs, but illegal copying and ripping almost killed the industry, so, we switched to iTunes, and similar streaming services. Speaking of music, some of the newcomers we met years ago became professional stars: we had Destiny's Child, now we have Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, we had N Sync, now we have Justin Timberlake and so. Thanks to the 2000s, we "met" The Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Blue, Flo Rida, Craig David to name a few.

deluxe funky logo  On Thursdays, we get back to the roots. The foundation of modern dance music - whether it is r'n'b, dance or house - relies in the seventies. James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang, Barry White, Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons... Icons, role models and inspirations. The eighties came close with stars like Imagination, Prince, Soul II Soul, The S.O.S. Band, Janet Jackson and more. The evolution of the synths brought crispy, fancy and sounds to the original funk, many of today's nu disco artist (and recently Bruno Mars himself!) sampled, or "borrowed" these unique sounds. Wanna know more about the pioneers? Midnight Star, Kano, Zapp, The Bar Kays, Morris Day or Hot Streak... So, we pour the seventies and the eighties into a big jar, shake it well up, and serve as The Funky Cocktail Of Your Day. Why would you miss it?

No matter where you are, contemporary r'n'b music will be your perfect companion on your way. We play only the best hand picked selection of r'n'b, mainly from the nineties and 2000s.

deluxe disco logo On Saturdays, we go disco. If you think that disco equals the Village People, Boney M, ABBA or Bee Gees, you're absolutely wrong. Despite its relatively short period in time, disco exploited its own huge starts and the influence they made is unquestionable. We, here at Deluxe FM decided to give you the ultimate disco experience with names like Loleatta Holloway, Evelyne "Champagne" King, Double Exposure, Alicia Bridges, Odyssey, Cerrone, Janice McLain, Geraldine Hunt, Odyssey, Bobby Thurston and Candi Staton, just to name a few. Get on your high heels, and enjoy the lighted dance floor, the shiny disco balls and the Mother Of All Dance Music: D-I-S-C-O. There's no better way to start the Saturday evening!

Deluxe Pearls logo On Sundays, we do what other radio stations rarely dare. If you really care about black music, this is your show: we go beyond the charts, those big names with millions of Facebook likes, and we together recognise the quality among quantity.
